            Antonio Puerta collapsed on the field during Sevilla's 4 -1 la liga campaign opening victory over Getafe.He had to be rushed to hospital.His condition is reported to be serious.

This is a recount of what happened exactly.

After going to the club house..he had a heart attack, based on the news."The patient, Antonio Puerta, continues to be in the intensive care unit under sedation, connected to a ventilating machine and with hemodynamic instability," according to the latest report, issued by the Hospital Virgen del Rocio on Sunday.

The first medical statement on Saturday said the player's condition was "very serious."

My thoughts go to him,his family, and the club. This is a serious situation to any player of any team.
