"Günah Şehri" (Sin City) filminin yönetmeni Robert Rodriguez, bu sefer yıllardır kendine örnek aldığı filmlerdeki korku tarzını harmanlayarak karşımıza çıkıyor.

William ve Dakota Block (Josh Brolin ve Marley Shelton) bir gece arka bahçelerinde dolaşan insanlar olduğunu fark ederler. Evlerinden çıktıklarında kasabadaki insanların garip davranmaya başladıklarını keşfederler. İnsanlar yavaş yavaş saldırganlaşmaya başlamışlardır. Bu saldırılar sırasında bacağı kopan dansçı Cherry (Rose McGowan) ve eski erkek arkadaşı Wray (Freddy Rodriguez), William ve Dakota’yla birlikte kasabada umutsuzca dolaşmaya başlarlar ve kasabada yaşanan bir patlama sonucu ortaya çıkan gazın insanları cani yaratıklara dönüştürdüğünü keşfederler.
